They all collapse in exactly the same manner: you pull a handle up from the bottom which brings the feet in, push a button on each rail which lets you collapse the top, and you end up with a long-ish cube of about 30" x 10". They're quite clever, but require a bit of practice and are not as simple as some of the strollers and car seats that do their thing in a singlle button/lever. The extras to look for include: a bassinet, a changing table, a utility shelf, a hamper, a diaper bag, a carrying bag, a dangly thing with cute smiling critters for baby to look up at...This one has pretty much what you see: a bassinet, a utility shelf, and a changing table. It also has a carrying bag though in reality I doubt we'll use it (perhaps for long term storage). The price is great--there are many other play yards with exactly the same features... The convenient diaper changer and accessory holder are a must, as well as the bassinet feature for naptimes. It was a little bit harder to set up and take down than I had anticipated. My boys' playpen was much easier to both assemble and disassemble (I think their's was made by Graco). But hopefully it will get easier with some more practice and some wear. My baby girl is not here yet, so we'll see how it holds up when she gets here, it looks a little cheaper than my kids' last playpen.
